We strongly condemn and prohibit the use of child labour in any aspect of our operations and supply chain. This document outlines our company’s stance on child labour and the measures we take to ensure compliance with international labour standards.

 Policy Overview

 1. Definition of Child Labour

Child labour refers to any work performed by individuals under the age of 15, or the minimum age for employment as defined by the applicable national law, whichever is higher. Our commitment against child labour extends to all stages of our business activities, from production to distribution.

 2. Compliance with International Standards

Ecologic Designs Europe Limited adheres to international labour standards, including but not limited to the International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions on child labour, such as ILO Convention No. 182. We ensure our operations align with the legal requirements and regulations of the countries in which we operate.

Implementation of Child Labour-Free Practices

1. Supplier Engagement

We evaluate and select suppliers based on their commitment to ethical practices, including the prohibition of child labour. Our suppliers are required to comply with our Child Labour Policy, and we conduct periodic assessments to verify their adherence.

 2. Employee Training

All employees are informed about our Child Labour Policy during the onboarding process, emphasising our commitment to maintaining a child labour-free environment. Regular training sessions are conducted to raise awareness and reinforce our policies.

 3. Monitoring and Auditing

Ecologic Designs Europe Limited conducts regular audits of our supply chain to assess and monitor compliance with our Child Labour Policy. In the event of non-compliance, corrective actions are implemented promptly.

4. Reporting Mechanism

We encourage employees and stakeholders to report any concerns related to child labour through a confidential reporting mechanism. This allows us to investigate and address potential issues swiftly.

 Consequences of Non-Compliance

Ecologic Designs Europe Limited takes allegations of child labour seriously.
